My 4th Grade class at Richard E. Byrd School in Glen Rock, NJ recently read the book "A Long Walk to Water" by Linda Sue Park. The book is about young children who do not have access to safe water. The children walk miles every day to collect water, and the water is contaminated and unsafe to drink.
As a grade, we have been inspired to partner with H2O for Life to build 2 water wells in a South Sudan village. This well would eliminate the need for the children to walk daily to collect water.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to build this well and we are asking our friends and family to help! Any amount is greatly appreciated and will help combat the global water crisis. Thank you for helping us to make a difference in the world.
