Hi! I am fundraising for the global water crisis by doing The Walk for Water on June 11th. The Walk for Water is a dynamic community initiative designed to build excitement and engage our younger generation in tackling the global water crisis. On the day of our walk, I will carry a bottle of water as me and my classmates walk around a local park to experience what it is like to carry water over a long distance, just like children in developing nations do every day.

The whole school will participate in The Walk for Water and gather donations from family and friends who will sponsor our efforts towards helping bring clean water to The Hlefi Community School in Ghana.

I learned about the water issues in Ghana, and am excited to help bring funds that will allow the school to create a rainwater catchment system on school grounds. This will provide immediate water for drinking, handwashing, and general cleaning.
