On a bitter cold day in December, we walked to a nearby lake in Newton, MA to collect and carry back water. Parents joined us for this short journey, as we got a mere glimpse into the world of people who have to work extremely hard to access this basic and essential need. In the end, we did not collect enough water for even one human to survive...
