Hi everyone!
Last year was my first year as a Water Warrior. This year I'm a club leader, and even through COVID19 and online school, we are working to fight the global water crisis that has become even more urgent as people have to break social distancing to haul dirty water for their families. This club has been the most amazing opportunity, but we can't do it without your help! Along with the rest of the club, I will be walking 3 miles with 2 gallons of water to spread awareness and show how hard it is for girls and women to give up their education to fetch water for their families. Water that is contaminated with disease. A child dies every 21 seconds from a water related disease, and these deaths aren't just from the water, but from the lack of proper hygene and sanitation.
Initially, we were supporting the Pajule Public Primary School in Uganda, and raising money for 15 water storage tanks in the Navajo Nation.
But this year, with all the amazing support we have recieved so far, we have been able to add 5 more water tanks in the Navajo Nation and a borehole well for Obolokome Primary School in Uganda.
Thank you to all who have donated and made this possible! No donation is too small. Just sharing the link to a couple friends could make a huge impact. Thank you so much!
