We've started our book- "A Long Walk to Water"

Students have started reading the book, "A Long Walk to Water" this week.  No matter how many times I have read this book, it is just as powerful of a read as the last.  I love reading this with students for the first time, as it truly brings perspective about how lucky we are to have immediate access to clean water.
I look forward to continuing to read this book with students, explore topics related to the story and for our "in their shoes" walk for water at the end of the month.  This is always a powerful opportunity for students to reflect on our blessings of clean water, education and more.
